MOZA R12 V2 Direct Drive Baza

This is my very first sim racing setup, stepping up straight from a gamepad, and the difference is mind-blowing. The 12Nm of torque is powerful but incredibly smooth and detailed. The software is very clean and doesn't bloat my PC, which is a huge plus for me. Highly recommended for a first DD base!

After years of racing with the Thrustmaster T300—which I genuinely enjoyed—I decided it was time to step up my game. I wanted stronger force feedback, better build quality, and a wheel that felt more immersive. Enter the Moza R12 V2 paired with the KS Racing Wheel—and I couldn’t be happier.

Force Feedback: The jump from belt-driven to direct drive is night and day. The R12 delivers 12Nm of torque, and you feel every bump, slide, and curb with precision. It’s punchy yet refined, and the new NexGen 3.0 FFB algorithm really smooths out the experience.

Build Quality: This thing is built like a tank. The aviation-grade aluminum chassis feels premium and solid, and the passive cooling system keeps it running cool even after long sessions.

KS Racing Wheel: The KS wheel is a perfect match—comfortable grip, responsive buttons, and a sleek design. It’s also one of the best-looking wheels I’ve used, and the dotted RPM lights are a nice touch.

Everything is great, Moza as always pleased with the quality and thanks for the good price. There were some small incomprehensible issues with the delivery times, the support operator provided incorrect information on the order status, but overall everything is good, thanks!

Really solid base!

Second order is an absolute fiasco, i paid almost 600 euros, didn't get my package as the delivery firm tried it the first time during my work hours at around 19 o Clock while i was at work despite the tracking site telling me they will arrive between 12-15 o clock, i waited until 16:30 then i had to leave for work, because i cannot take time of work forever.

The second time a day later whitout ringing the bell and the pickup point was 12 kilometres away from my home, which is very hard to reach if you dont have a car as its basically in the middle of nowhere, which was only open 3-4 hours a day.
And they have send the package back to nowhere whitout my notice which means i have no package.

Under the current circumstances i cannot order from this company again and i will not recommend it to any other sim racer who is interest in ordering from them

This was an upgrade from my R3, the R3 was a nice starting point, and absolutely great setup.
But if you want to take your experience to the next level, then this is definitely worth considering.
The difference is amazing; it’s not just an increase in maximum torque (3.9-12Nm) but the feedback and response you receive through the wheel is so much more detailed I would assume due to the 21bit encoding.
Of course, it’s how you set up the wheelbase is so important to the experience, there are a lot of tutorials out there on the best way to set up the base, it’s so dependent on the sim you are playing.
I have different pre-sets for each sim and wheel I use, and because of the increase in torque you can run the maximum FFB at 80-90% and don’t have to worry about overheating on those long races.
So, the bottom line is, great upgrade, it does need some tweaking to get best out of it, so bear that in mind before you commit.

As expected being my 2nd purchase from simhub. It was delivered in the term provided, the staff was nice and answered my questions and it simply went smooth. The base is phenomenal!
